Rough hawkbit (Leontodon hispidus)

Perennial dandelion lookalike , found on limestone grassland, rock ledges, roadside verges and hay meadows. Abundant in the Upper Eden valley. Hairy stems arise from a rosette of toothed leaves. The small yellow flowers often have a red underside to the petals.
